MPs took part in a Westminster Hall debate on Bulgarian and Romanian immigration, on 22 April 2013.

The debate was prompted by an e-petition calling on the government to stop mass immigration from the two countries when work restrictions are lifted at the end of the year.

The petition attracted more than 100,000 signatures - the threshold required to be eligible for debate in Parliament.

Mark Pritchard, the Conservative MP for The Wrekin, opened the debate in Westminster Hall.
