Radio that changed lives

It is the UN's World Radio day on 13 February and to mark the occasion BBC World Service listeners have suggested moments of radio that changed their lives.

This montage features some of the moments from history they selected, including Jawaharlal Nehru's words on the eve of Indian independence, the assassination of John F Kennedy and the day Nelson Mandela was released from prison after 27 years,
