Hungary on high alert for River Danube floods

Emergency services and volunteers in Hungary are racing to build and reinforce flood barriers, with the River Danube threatening to reach record heights.

Some small towns and villages have been cut off and river levels are expected to peak in Budapest on Monday.

Thousands of people in Germany have also been evacuated.
