Investigation after Edinburgh police cars set on fire

Police officers in Edinburgh have started an investigation after two police cars were set on fire while attending a call.

The marked vehicles were attacked while in Niddrie House Park at about 18:30 on Monday.

The cars had been left unattended in the street, in the Craigmillar area, as officers dealt with an incident.

Police Scotland said two men have been detained for questioning following the fire.
