Ford to recall 465,000 vehicles to fix possible fuel leak

US carmaker Ford has announced that it will recall 465,000 cars globally to fix a possible fuel leak.
The firm said a fuel delivery module in the affected cars could leak and may result in a fire in the presence of an ignition source.
Ford said it had received 600 consumer complaints about the problem but there had been no reports of any fires, accidents or injuries.
The models affected by the recall include the 2013 Ford Fusion sedan.
The recall also affects the Ford Explorer, Taurus, Flex, Police Utility and Police Interceptor and the Lincoln MKS, MKT and MKZ.
All the vehicles are from the 2013 model year.
Almost 420,000 of the vehicles are being recalled in the US, Mexico and Canada, with the rest overseas.
The carmaker said it was also recalling 23 of the 2013 Ford Fusions to fix steering gears that lack an internal retaining clip, thus increasing the risk of a crash.
An additional 500 2013 Lincoln MKZ sedans equipped with engine block heaters are also being recalled to fix electrical cords that can crack in cold weather.
