Sobering sale: Elyseé to auction off presidential wines

The French presidency is to auction off part of its famous wine cellar for the first time.

More than one thousand bottles are expected to go under the hammer, ranging in price from 15 to 2500 euros (£13 to £2140).

It is part of the Elyseé's plan to replenish its stock without using money from the public purse.
