Emily Harris' teddy's passport gets by Turkish customs

Mother Nicky Harris explains how she mistakenly handed in her daughter's teddy bear's pretend passport when they arrived for a family holiday at an airport in Turkey - and it was allowed as entry for Emily, nine.

Mrs Harris from Pontnewydd, Cwmbran, said she thought she was handing in passports for herself and her husband along with that of her daughters.

But it was only when she returned them back into her bag that she realised Emily's proper passport was still inside and that she had actually showed the passport controller a toy passport for Lily, a purple unicorn.

Mrs Harris tells BBC Radio Wales how the Build-a-Bear toy passport has been officially stamped for entry to Turkey even though the toy bear was still at home at Pontnewydd.

"It was error on my part... but nobody questioned it," she said.
