Ministers 'considering sickness benefit changes'

The government is considering significantly reducing the amount of sickness benefits that some people receive, the BBC understands.

An official document says recipients of the Employment and Support Allowance who are expected to look for work should have their payments cut to the same level as jobseeker's allowance.
