Stories

Vietnamese Priest
Michael Ho was one of the original boat people, who fled Vietnam thirty five years ago during the Vietnam war. This film explores just how perilous that journey to freedom was, as Michael and 76 others were adrift in the South China sea for 17 days without food or water. We find out how, what happened next, led Michael to dedicate his life to God and Pam Rhodes witnesses the emotional re-union of Michael with the couple involved in his dramatic rescue.

Lorna Hood
The Very Rev. Lorna Hood was once named one of the hundred most powerful women in the UK. From her parish of Renfrew near Glasgow, she reflects on her time as Moderator of the Church of Scotland, the public face of Scotland’s largest church.

Rebecca Ferguson

In 2010 Rebecca Ferguson shot to fame when she finished in second place on the X Factor. As part of the competition, she sang the famous hymn, Amazing Grace. Josie d’Arby joins Rebecca at St Peter and St Paul’s Church in Olney, Buckinghamshire, where John Newton wrote Amazing Grace, to learn more about the song and its meaning.
