Twitter Premier League and why Nigerians are trying to develop homegrown football
Africans are mad about world football but their domestic leagues are unpopular. Now the TPL (Twitter Premier League) is trying to change that. Adaeze Opara, who operates the league from the United States and Oluwafemi Adebule, the CEO of TPL based in Lagos, tell Newsday about where the idea came from and why it is important to have homegrown football.
