Gianni Infantino, UEFA General Secretary, opens proceedings with a welcome speech:
He said: "It is impossible to forecast which teams will meet in the final at Berlin's Olympiastadion on 6 June 2015, but we can definitely expect more of the same - a wealth of fantastic matches, memorable goals and brilliant individual displays as the season unfolds."

Spanish sides could face English opponent
There is a good chance this draw could ensure Arsenal or Manchester City face a last-16 fixture with Spanish opposition.
The three remaining Spanish clubs all won their groups and will therefore meet a runner-up from a different group. The Gunners and City can potentially meet all three so there is a strong chance one of them will do so.
Barcelona: Juventus, Basel, Leverkusen, Arsenal, Manchester City, Schalke, Shakhtar.
Real Madrid: Juventus, Leverkusen, Arsenal, Manchester City, Paris, Schalke, Shakhtar.
Atletico Madrid: Basel, Leverkusen, Arsenal, Manchester City, Paris, Schalke, Shakhtar.

Champions League
Nyon pops up again
Firstly, do you think Uefa headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, looks like the lair of a Bond villain or the elaborate home of a wealthy film star?
Getty ImagesCopyright: Getty Images
Either way, Nyon is seemingly one of those places you never hear a pip about until it is Champions League draw time.
It must be a peaceful town as only around 20,000 people live there and it sits on the banks of Lake Geneva. I wonder what locals think when the Champions League bandwagon rolls into town.
It is home to one of the best rugby clubs in Switzerland - Nyon Rugby Club - who are twinned with...wait for it...Ealing Rugby Club in West London. Anyone else fancy a lazy weekend break there?
Transfer embargo for three Championship clubs
Football
Blackburn Rovers, Leeds United and Nottingham Forest have failed to meet Financial Fair Play rules for the division and will face a transfer embargo from 1 January for the remainder of the season, the Football League has confirmed.
During the 2013-14 season, all three clubs exceeded a maximum permitted deviation of £8m.
That consists of a maximum adjusted operating loss of £3m plus a further maximum of £5m of shareholder investment.
More on Clarke surgery
Cricket
More on the news that Australia captain Michael Clarke will face an operation on his injured right hamstring.
Australian Team Doctor Peter Brukner said: "Whilst surgery is not always required with hamstring injuries, Michael has substantial damage to a key part of the hamstring tendon and it was felt the best course of action was to surgically repair the damaged area.
"His recovery and the timing of his return to play will be dependent on the surgeon's advice and how well he recovers in the coming weeks."

Champions League draw
A simple guide to the draw
Sometimes these draws can sound confusing but this one is relatively straight forward.
Seeded teams - group winners - go in one pot, runners-up in the other. A team cannot play sides from their own pot.
Group winners: Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, AS Monaco, Borussia Dortmund, FC Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Chelsea, FC Porto.
Group runners-up: Juventus, FC Basel, Bayer Leverkusen, Arsenal, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Schalke, Shakhtar Donetsk.
However:
Teams cannot be drawn against an opponent from their own country.
A side cannot face an opponent they have already played in this year's competition in the round of 16 draw.
So for example Bayern Munich as group winners cannot face Manchester City who they have already played, or Schalke and Leverkusen as they come from the same country. They therefore have five possible opponents. Got it? Good.

Fredy Bickel, Young Boys sporting director, speaking to Uefa.com about his side's meeting with Everton: "We are happy to have got Everton. They are a famous club and attractive opponents.
"We hope to be able to count on our fans again on 19 February in Berne and to have an atmospheric match there.

And, as recently as this day in 2013,Tottenham were beaten 5-0 by Liverpool in what proved to be Andre Villas-Boas' last match as Spurs manager.

"If I was a Bournemouth fan I would be rubbing my hands," Case told BBC Radio Solent's Sportshour show on Friday. "Liverpool are there for the taking. I watch Liverpool every game. The lack of confidence within the side, the work ethic, there is a lot of work to do to get them back on track."

Firstly, do you think Uefa headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, looks like the lair of a Bond villain or the elaborate home of a wealthy film star?
Either way, Nyon is seemingly one of those places you never hear a pip about until it is Champions League draw time.
It must be a peaceful town as only around 20,000 people live there and it sits on the banks of Lake Geneva. I wonder what locals think when the Champions League bandwagon rolls into town.

Champions League draw
A simple guide to the draw
Sometimes these draws can sound confusing but this one is relatively straight forward.
Group winners: Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, AS Monaco, Borussia Dortmund, FC Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Chelsea, FC Porto.
Group runners-up: Juventus, FC Basel, Bayer Leverkusen, Arsenal, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Schalke, Shakhtar Donetsk.
However:
So for example Bayern Munich as group winners cannot face Manchester City who they have already played, or Schalke and Leverkusen as they come from the same country. They therefore have five possible opponents. Got it? Good.
