Sir Muir Gray: "It's about health span not life span"
Sir Muir Gray, former Chief Knowledge Officer to the National Health Service, thinks many of the problems associated with old age be solved if the over 70s were much better at keeping fit
"It's not about life extension, it's about health span not life span.... the aim is not to live forever...but to be as fit as possible, as able as possible, as long as possible," he said.
Fitness guru Diana Moran aka 'The Green Goddess' thinks attitude is important.
"If you've got a good attitude, it's going to say I can still do this; I am determined that I am still going to be able to walk, play, associate with people," she said.
