Flying 7000km with migrating swans
Former British and Australian free-diving champion, Sacha Dench, is set to experience a 7000 km migration of Bewick swans by flying with them, using just a parachute wing strapped to a small propeller engine. The conservationist with the Wetland and Wildfowl Trust will travel from the Russian Arctic to the UK. She spoke to Newsday about her preparations.
