In a unique contest subverting stereotypes, each year the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo chooses its "Most Handsome Elderly Man''.
The winner was Aureo do Nascimento, a 63-year-old truck driver pictured here at the front
He defeated 21 rivals, all aged between 62 and 94

The all-female jury looked for charisma and personality as much as looks
