The Japanese Village of the Dolls
Tsuki Ayano grew up in the remote village of Nagoro in southern Japan. On returning to live in the village after many years living in the city of Osaka, she found the population hugely reduced. So, as a hobby she started making human-sized dolls to replace the missing people and increase the population of her village. Reporter Hiromi Tanoue travelled to the village of Nagoro to meet Tsuki Ayano and find out how many dolls she's made.
