A Doncaster man is jailed for a series of rapes against a child. 75-year-old John Caddle, of Hardy Road, has been sentenced to 19 years in jail and placed on the sex offenders' register for life
There's to be a £3.6m of expansion for the Yorkshire Wildlife park near Doncaster
Bosses at an industrial electronics firm Rotherham have been accused of bullying workers and forcing them to accept an unfair pay offer.
The Unite union, which claims to represent about a quarter of the 650 workers at Kostal UK Ltd in Goldthorpe, says management are using "divide and rule" tactics to get workers to sign up to the deal.
They also say the company is ignoring the fact that more than 80% of the workforce recently voted for collective bargaining in a ballot run by the conciliation service, Acas.
The union now plans to ballot its members for strike action.
The company has not yet responded to the BBC's requests for a comment.
Doncaster's Bailey Matthews crosses the finish line with BBC Radio 1 DJ
Mr Wheeler, 51, was last seen at his home address just before 14:00 this afternoon.
Police and Mr Wheeler's family are concerned for his welfare and his sudden disappearance is considered to be out of character.

Mr Wheeler is white, about 5ft 8ins tall, with a medium build and short grey hair. When he was last seen he was wearing a black puffer-style jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.

The gravitational waves were finally detected on 14 September 2015 by both of the twin Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO) detectors, in Livingston, Louisiana, and Hanford, Washington, USA.
Doctor Ed Daw, from the University of Sheffield’s Department of Physics and Astronomy, is part of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration that made the discovery.
He has been researching gravitational waves with LIGO since 1998.
Det Sgt Laura Jones, of South Yorkshire Police, said Caddle had subjected his victim to "horrendous abuse".
Tata steelworkers to go to Brussels to petition to 'save the industry'

A delegation of steelworkers from Tata steel calling for fair trade and a competitive level playing field will join others in the industry in Brussels on Monday.
They're petitioning the European Commission to take immediate and robust action to save Europe's steel industry.
Tata Steel's European chief executive Karl Koehler will march with his employees and he says: "The situation facing Tata Steel and other European steel makers today is perilous".

Stanage Pole has been missing from Hallam Moors, close to Stanage Edge, since last year when it was removed after the timber structure rotted.

Sports Personality of the Year Helen Rollason Award winner Bailey Matthews crossed the finish line earlier with BBC Radio 1 DJ Greg James as he finished his fourth triathlete in five days in Sheffield.
Tomorrow, the DJ will complete his challenge for Sport Relief in Norfolk.

Doncaster child rapist John Caddle jailed for 19 years

A man has been jailed for 19 years for repeatedly raping a young girl over a six-year period.
John Caddle, 75, of Hardy Road, Doncaster, was found guilty of 12 counts of raping the child between 1974 and 1980. He was only arrested after his victim contacted police in 2013.

It really is Greg's Gruelling Gregathlon!
The BBC Radio 1 DJ arrived in Sheffield today for his fourth triathlon in five days.
He'll be presenting his afternoon show on Radio 1 from 16:00 this afternoon after riding over 30 miles in the Peaks...And coming off his bicycle!
Then he did a 1500m swim at Ponds Forge in Sheffield...
And then a little bit of a jog (over nine miles of it!)
And as if that weren't enough... He'll be doing another triathlon in Norwich tomorrow!
Phew...
Don Valley Labour MP Caroline Flint quizzes Google boss over tax
Google's UK chief has defended the search giant's tax arrangements in a hearing before MPs on the Commons Public Accounts Committee.
Matt Brittin said he understood public anger about the amount of tax it paid.
However, he said Google was paying 20% tax on its UK profits, not the 3% figure cited in some reports.
