An arrest warrant issued against Milton Keynes business school owner Tina Beloveth Powerful has still not been executed - but do you remember how she first came to prominence?

American university Harvard and Havard in Milton Keynes

Those with longer memories will know she first came to prominence when her Havard school was sued by American education giant, Harvard University in September 2013. The dispute was eventually settled out of court with Beloveth Powerful paid a nominal fee to re-brand her college.

She had claimed the school had originally been named after her grandfather, Havard. It was then re-named Everest, apparently after her father. Fortunately, the windows experts weren't bothered.

  10. Tina Beloveth Powerful: Exposing Everest

    Craig Lewis

    BBC News

We're talking Tina Beloveth Powerful today, with an arrest warrant against the Milton Keynes business school owner still outstanding.

American university Harvard and the home of Havard

In February 2014, Beloveth Powerful changed the name of her business school from Havard to Everest School of Transformational Management - after the US education giant paid her a nominal fee to re-brand her college.

But despite being exposed as a fraud in October 2013, I found she was still up to her old tricks:

    • Everest was offering degree, Masters and PHD courses in Transformational Leadership, but was still not on the Department of Business' list of approved higher education providers and was not offering the course on behalf of a correctly accredited university
    • When I posed as a foreign student and asked Everest who they were accredited by, Beloveth Powerful quoted her number at Companies House
    • Everest claimed to be holding courses at Christ the Cornerstone Church, but the church said it wanted nothing to do with Beloveth Powerful who owed them thousands of pounds
    • The Everest website featured Professor Leon Goldman as their Dean of Studies - but he said although he did some work for Beloveth Powerful about four years ago, he had never been Dean and she did not have permission to use his name or photograph on the website

New owner, Paul Roberts from Springfield in Milton Keynes, said: “I don’t know why no one wanted to rehome him sooner - he is a very clever, lovely dog.”

  14. Tina Beloveth Powerful: Beyond the business school

    Craig Lewis

    BBC News

Tina Beloveth Powerful remains missing after being found guilty of fraud and false advertising. Her prosecution followed an investigation by the BBC which found she had been operating without the correct accreditation and claiming to work from facilities she didn't have.

    The letter from Mark Lancaster

Away from her business school, I also found:

    • Beloveth Powerful runs Beloveth International Ministries, which includes stop youth crime group Agapelove Stop Youth Crimes Global Network and another group called Agape Love. Both groups include Donate buttons on their websites
    • Beloveth International Ministries website includes a letter from MP Mark Lancaster backing the youth crimes scheme. Mr Lancaster's office told us in October 2013 that they had asked for it to be removed a year previously, but it hadn't been. The letter remains on the website
    • The letter said Navrita Atwal, then of MK Equality Council, was a governor of Agapelove Stop Youth Crimes. Ms Atwal told the BBC she has never had any connection with any of Beloveth Powerful's organisations

  20. Tina Beloveth Powerful: The non-existent facilities

    Craig Lewis

    BBC News

The prosecution case against Tina Beloveth Powerful talked extensively about the non-existent facilities she had claimed to offer at her Milton Keynes business school.

Powerful is currently missing despite a warrant having been issued for her rest more than a month ago. The Trading Standards case came after a BBC investigation exposed Beloveth Powerful as a fraud.

    My investigation found:

    • The Havard School claimed to have a 'Correspondence and Central Office' at Ascot House in CMK, but this was actually Beloveth Powerful's flat. It did not have business use permission from MK Council
    • The school claimed to have 'campuses' at Christ the Cornerstone Church and the Jesus Celebration Centre. However, the church said it only rented out a room for two hours once a week, and that Powerful was behind with her rent. The celebration centre had no connection with Havard
    • The school's website claimed to have a 'Havard School Library' based at Central Milton Keynes Library. This did not exist
    • The website told new students to go to the school's "UK Reception Admission Office" at Acorn House in Milton Keynes but no-one there had heard of either Powerful or Havard

When I looked into her Havard school in 2013, I found:

    • Despite Havard offering higher education courses, the Department of Business, Skills and Innovation confirmed it had no public funding which meant it was running privately and needed to be accredited, otherwise it would have been in breach of trading standards regulations
    • The school claimed to be accredited by The Institute of Administrative Management (IAM), the London Centre of Marketing (LCM) and the British Computing Society (BCS). All three schools said they had no record of Havard
