Conservative conference: Boris Johnson's rugby scrum joke

London Mayor Boris Johnson drew laughs and applause from delegates at the Conservative Party conference when he made a joke comparing his policies to a rugby scrum.

During his speech, he said his "happiest, formative afternoons" were spent as part of a rugby scrum, bound "tightly and correctly, in my case to the hooker".

"Insert joke here, as Jeremy Corbyn's autocue would doubtless say," he added.
