Snow blankets Glasgow as Met Office issues yellow weather warning

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning of snow for parts of West Scotland, Northwest England, the Midlands and Southern England.

Drivers have been urged to travel with care after parts of Scotland were hit by some of the first widespread snowfalls of winter.

Temperatures in Glasgow fell as snow swept across the city.
