When the Proms season comes, life changes; a kind of light comes into your diary
Sir David Attenborough

For each concert at the Royal Albert Hall there are around 1,000 standing places in the Arena and Gallery, a handful of seats in the Choir, or on very few occasions seats in the Rear Rausing Circle, for Prommers. For most concerts you can book up to two tickets online from 10.30am on the day of the concert.

All standing Promming tickets will be unreserved, meaning that you can choose where you stand when you arrive. If you book seats, these will be allocated to you when you book. Promming allows you to enjoy the best of the Proms.

The seats in the Choir or Front Circle are allocated at the point of booking.

Can I have a seat with a Promming ticket?

For those Prommers who are unable to stand for the duration of a concert, a limited number of seats either at the back of the Arena and Gallery or in the Choir or on very few occasions in the Front Circle will be available to book online via the Royal Albert Hall.

The seats in the Choir and Front Circle are allocated at the point of booking. Please only use these seats if you are unable to stand for duration of the concert.

Do you offer accessible Day Promming tickets?

When you book you will be able to choose standing in the Arena or Gallery. There will also be limited (subject to availability) seating available in the Arena, Gallery and the Choir or Front Circle.

Can I buy tickets in person?

If you are unable to purchase online, you can book from the Door 12 box office from 10.30am on the day. Except Proms 3, 10, 11, 25, 29, 38, 54, 62 and 64 for which Day Promming tickets will be available from 10.30am the day before the Prom.

When can I claim my tickets?

You must log in to claim your ticket for each concert for which you wish to use your Season or Weekend Pass. You have guaranteed priority access to your ticket/s from 12 noon the day before the Prom until 10am on the day of the Prom.

From 10.30am onwards, you will no longer have guaranteed admission. This is because we want to open Promming to as many people as possible and Day Promming tickets go on sale to the public at 10.30am each day. However, you can continue to claim your ticket (subject to availability) until 5 minutes before the performance begins.

Please note that for Proms 3, 11, 29, 38, 54 and 64 you are guaranteed access between midday 2 days before the Prom and 10am the day before the Prom (and can continue to redeem subject to availability until 5 minutes before the start of the Prom)

If you are unable to claim your tickets online you can also claim by the following ways:
At our door 12 box office (open daily 9am - 9pm)
By calling 020 7070 4443 (9am - 9pm daily 13 - 21 May, 9am - 5pm weekdays from 22 May). This line will also be open 12noon - 1pm on weekends.

How do I claim my tickets online?

1. Log in to your account on the Royal Albert Hall website (the same account you used to book your pass)
2. Click on this link, which we recommend saving to your favourites. This page is your one-stop shop for redeeming your Passes to the Proms.

You can also access this link by:
- Clicking ‘Day Promming’ within the Royal Albert Hall's Your Account page
- Finding the Prom you’d like to attend on the What’s On page and clicking the ‘Promming tickets’ button

3. You should now see something like the below. Proms available to book will have a red button. Please note, if multiple Proms are available (for example, a matinée and evening Prom taking place on the same day), you will need to check out each event’s tickets individually.
If you have purchased a Pass but cannot see a red button to book tickets, you may not be logged in or the booking window may not be open yet. Please see the top of this page for details.

4. Pick the event you would like to attend.

5. If you are unable to stand, we have a limited number of seated spaces in the Arena and Gallery that you may be able to select. Also, regardless of whether you have purchased Arena or Gallery pass you may also be able to choose a seated ticket in the Choir or Front Rausing Circle. Please note that all seating is subject to availability – if it is not showing up, that means that there are no available seats remaining.

6. Don’t forget to book a pre-show drink or meal at one of our many restaurants and bars – you can explore what’s on offer here.

7. You will be sent a print-at-home ticket via email which you can print, show on your phone or download as an Apple Wallet e-ticket.
