  7. Man denies targeting drunk students

    A man has denied targeting students in Oxford and university cities across the country looking for drunk women to rape and sexually assault.

    Tahir Nazir

    Tahir Nazir, 40, from Glasgow, denies sexual assault, attempted rape and four trespass offences.

    He also denied claims his trips to university towns across the UK, including Oxford, had a sexual purpose.

  8. Travel latest: Congestion on the A415, A361 and B4044

    • Traffic is slow on the A415 Ock Street in both directions in Abingdon between the B4017 Drayton Road junction and the East Saint Helen Street junction  
    • There's also congestion on the A361 South Bar Street in both directions in Banbury at Banbury Cross
    • It's also busy on the B4044 Oxford Road westbound in Swinford at the B4449 junction

  11. Plant-based diets 'could save millions of lives'

    Millions of deaths could be avoided each year if more people ate less meat, according to Oxford researchers.

    Fruit and vegetables

    The team at Oxford Martin School found that if we followed global guidelines on healthy eating - which rely less on meat and more on fruit and vegetables - eight million lives could be saved by 2050.

    Researchers also found food-related carbon emissions would be reduced by nearly 30%.
