Tickets for BBC 6 Music Festival Saturday Late at Motion are available to buy on this page. Friday Late at Basement 45 has now sold out.

You will be able to book tickets online via this site, or by phone via the box office of the official 6 Music Festival ticket agents (please note that call charges will apply).

A maximum of 4 tickets per person, with a limit of 2 transactions per card applies for all 6 Music Festival Late events. Please note that the booking and postage fees vary for each event. The fees cover the cost of the ticketing process including staff, administration, office costs and ticket distribution.

You may find that tickets sell out whilst you are trying to book them. Tickets are only confirmed once the payment has been successfully processed. Once booking opens we will post regular updates to alert you when tickets sell out via the 6 Music Facebook Page and 6 Music Twitter feed.

We understand your frustration that some people may place adverts on secondary ticketing websites. We do not agree with people selling tickets on for profit, however legally there is nothing we can do to prevent this happening.

The BBC reserves the right to ask ticket holders for their identification linked to the purchase of the original ticket upon entry to the event. We strongly recommend the public do not risk buying tickets that are being resold as we cannot guarantee whether they are genuine or if they are tickets that have previously been cancelled. Those offering free or paid tickets for sale are breaking the Terms & Conditions they agreed to during the booking process and, if discovered, we reserve the right to cancel their tickets

There are still opportunities to be part of 6 Music Festival this year. Some ticket will be given away in on-air competitions on BBC 6 Music in the weeks leading up to the event so keep listening for more information.

To attend any of the 6 Music Festival Late events you will need to be aged 18 or over.

To attend any of the 6 Music Festival by Day events you will need to be aged 16 or over. If you are 16 or 17 years old you will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over.

BBC 6 Music Festival and its venue partners are committed to ensuring this event is accessible as possible for everyone. It is a city based festival which takes place in 5 venues in Bristol. Please be aware that each venue has varied levels of disabled facilities and accessibility. All events are sold as standing ticketed events only. BBC 6 Music and its venue partners are pleased to operate a 2 4 1 PA/Carer ticket scheme for disabled access customers.

Yes, but please be aware professional photography equipment such as zoom lenses are not allowed in the venue. Please also note Selfie Sticks will not be permitted at any 6 Music Festival venues.

We are not currently looking for volunteers or work experience staff, however we do have general BBC work experience placements here

We are not looking for any more bands to play this year, but if you want to be in with a chance of playing on a BBC Introducing Stage in the future make sure you upload your music via the BBC Introducing Uploader

BBC Radio 6 Music will be broadcasting from the festival across the weekend from Friday 12 February with the network’s presenters coming live from all the venues, day and night.

The station will air many of the performances live from Motion, Colston Hall, O2 Academy Bristol and Basement 45, with others recorded and aired in shows later in the week and on future dates.

The 6 Music Festival can also be seen and heard across digital platforms. As well as being broadcast on the station across the weekend, highlights from a selection of performances will be available to watch via the BBC Red Button at various times during the weekend of the event and over the following fortnight.

Full sets from around 20 acts will be made available on BBC iPlayer for 30 days, and there will be more video and photos from the event showcased at bbc.co.uk/6music and via the stations’ social channels.
