Lines of Inquiry for Line of Duty…

Gavin Collinson

BBC Writersroom

We’re halfway through the current series of Line of Duty so it seemed a great time to point you in the direction of all the extra content we have around the show, its writer Jed Mercurio and the programme’s production.

First up, there’s a great podcast in which the BBC’s Henry Swindell talks to Jed about his career and how he creates his stories and characters. It’s a fascinating, in-depth piece that’s well worth a download

Writer Jed Mercurio

Want more Mercurio? We filmed an interview with him back in 2014 and again, it’s full of good stuff about Line of Duty and what inspires him.

But if you missed the first two series you can get-up-date quick smart with our handy recap and the opening eps of the current run are available on BBC iPlayer for a limited time.

Martin Compston who plays DS Steve Arnott (above) opens up about his character in a special blog and Daniel Mays (Sergeant Danny Waldron) and other members of the team talk series 3 and what Line of Duty means to them.

There are also plenty of galleries sharing sneak peeks behind the scenes plus a trailer for series 3

And finally, don’t forget, Line of Duty is on BBC Two on Thursdays at 9pm.
