Rovers have also allowed Gary Mackenzie to join Notts County for a month and have released Rob Jones.

Meadowhall £60m refurbishment starts today

A £60m refurbishment programme has started at Meadowhall.
The work's being carried out at night and will be completed by the end of 2017.

Two men and a woman from Rotherham are currently in police custody being questioned by detectives in relation to an armed robbery at a bank in Parkgate, Rotherham, on Friday.
Two people arrested over the weekend - a 52-year old man arrested on suspicion of robbery and a 39-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender - have been bailed pending further police inquiries.

There's a big industry event near Doncaster tonight talking about drones - flying robots usually controlled remotely. Alongside that people from around the UK are taking a course there today so they can use drones commercially

England Women to play Euro 2017 rivals Belgium in Rotherham

England will host Belgium in Rotherham as they aim to continue their 100% winning start to the Uefa Women's Euro 2017 qualifying campaign.
They will play at Rotherham United's New York Stadium on 8 April, the Football Association said.
England have won their two qualifiers so far, thrashing Estonia 8-0 before a 1-0 win against Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Sheffield freeskier James Woods somehow lands a jump on just one ski while competing at the Freestyle Skiing World Cup...
Woods was competing in the World Cup in the USA - his run was going well, he landed his first two big jumps successfully.
The problem came on his final jump. He dropped points, but gained a huge amount of respect!

A man and woman from Rotherham who were arrested at the weekend over an armed robbery at a bank on Friday have been released on police bail.
The raid took place on Friday morning at the Yorkshire Bank on Broad Street at Parkgate.

A call for a £2m underspend in the South Yorkshire Transport Executive budget to be reinvested in restoring concessionary travel for older and disabled people has been rejected by a combined authority meeting of council leaders today.
Campaigners were lobbying transport bosses in Rotherham today over the concessions.
