Leeds United: My verdict on Garry Monk
Katherine Hannah
BBC West Yorkshire Sport
An impressive start to life at Leeds United from new head coach Garry Monk. He's clearly very confident in his own ability having managed Swansea in the Premier League, and he's looking forward to the challenge ahead.
He's not daft, he'll be aware that previous head coaches at Leeds haven't lasted too long under chairman Massimo Cellino. But Monk is right to say that ultimately it's a results business, and it's results that will dictate his fate.

He's clearly excited by the potential of the current squad and the talented young players Leeds already have, and says it's all about keeping hold of the best talent while making a few tweaks in certain areas.
And fans can expect exciting football, Monk says his style is all about playing possession football with purpose, he wants plenty of shots and goals, and for the fans who go along to support the team to be happy they've paid their money.
