Police probe disappearance of deer at Perthshire estate

Police are investigating after a number of deer were apparently stolen from a Perthshire estate.

Padlocks were cut at an animal enclosure at New Fargie, near Glenfarg, overnight on Friday, and seven deer disappeared.

Officers believe they may have been stolen, and are making inquiries.

A spokesman for Police Scotland asked for anyone with information to come forward.
