Tomorrow we'll see further spells of rain, sleet and snow turning more showery though the day but still the risk of some heavy wintry showers into the afternoon. 

Four men from Bradford who are serving life behind bars for murdering Barry Selby in 2013 are launching an appeal against their convictions. 

Mr Selby was 50 years old and died in hospital three days after he was shot in the leg and had acid thrown in his face by men who broke into his home in Bradford in October 2013. 

Lee Michael Calvert, Joseph Lowther, Robert Patrick Woodhead and Andrew Kyle Feather were all convicted of his murder at Bradford Crown Court in 2014 They are now challenging their convictions at London's Criminal Appeal Court, claiming they were denied a fair trial.

Leeds Rhinos legend Kevin Sinfield announced yesterday he will retire from rugby at the end of the season.

The 35-year-old switched codes from league to join union side Yorkshire Carnegie last November after leading the Rhinos to the treble.

Hannah Davies went missing from Cardigan Fields, Kirkstall, Leeds, at about  20:15 on Tuesday 26 April.

Hannah is described as white, about 5ft 7ins tall, slim, with blue eyes and mousy-brown, shoulder-length hair. She was wearing blue jeans, a white blouse, black jacket and black shoes.

Ken Livingstone has been suspended by the Labour Party over comments he made while defending Bradford West MP, Naz Shah, who is at the centre of an anti-Semitism row.

The ex-London mayor will be investigated for "bringing the party into disrepute".

Labour MP John Mann, who accused Mr Livingstone of being a "Nazi apologist" in a confrontation outside a BBC studio, faces a reprimand.

West Yorkshire police have praised the courage of a young girl - after her attacker was jailed for 17 years.

Paul Griffiths, who's 49 and from Knottingley, committed a string of sex offences including rape against the young girl between 2010 and 2015, when she was under 10 years old. 

The offences came to light after the victim disclosed what was taking place to a relative who then contacted the police.

Leeds Rhinos coach Brian McDermott has confirmed that both captain Danny McGuire (pictured) and full-back Zak Hardaker won't feature at Huddersfield on Friday.

McGuire's failed to recover from injury, while Hardaker has failed a concussion test.

As a result, McDermott says there's "a good chance" that 17-year-old Cameron Smith will make his Rhinos debut and that Luke Briscoe will make only his fourth appearance. 

The Leeds boss has also confirmed to BBC West Yorkshire Sport that the club's discussing a possible role for Kevin Sinfield following his retirement.
