The National has the first minister saying she will "continue to try to persuade people" over a second referendum.

The Scottish Daily Express leads with Ms Sturgeon warning that no one will be able to stand in the way of her calling a second referendum on breaking up Britain.

The Scottish edition of The Times says she was described as being "anti-democratic" for continuing to push for independence.

In other news, the Daily Record leads with a story about a former policeman threatening to kill his ex after she exposed his lies about being treated for terminal cancer.

The Scottish Sun says David Seath, who died while running the London Marathon, was secretly planning to propose to his girlfriend.

The Scottish Daily Mail writes that Kenny MacAskill was at the centre of a "blood money" row over his plans to cash in on a book about freeing the Lockerbie bomber.

The Highland edition of the Press and Journal reports that plans for a pioneering justice centre in Inverness have been dealt a huge blow.

The Daily Star of Scotland carries claims over footballer Ryan Giggs.
