Does your lifestyle give you cancer?
A new study in the United States has concluded that lifestyle factors may help to cause up to ninety per cent of all cancers. Researchers at Stony Brook University in New York based their findings on re-analysis of cancer data. They found random cell mutations rarely led to cancer without external factors like nicotine, alcohol, toxic chemicals or radiation. The research is published in the journal 'Nature'. Dr Emma Smith is from Cancer Research, a UK charity which funds research into cancer.
