Climber was taking 'very serious risks' says travel expert
Yesterday we reported news of the death of Norwich man Aiden Webb, 22, who fell while solo-climbing a mountain in Vietnam.
Today travel expert Simon Calder has told us that Mr Webb was taking "very serious risks" climbing the mountain on his own.

Mr Calder, senior travel editor for The Independent, said people travelling to relatively poor countries could not expect the same standard of search and rescue efforts as in the west.
He said: "I'm sorry to say if his girlfriend goes to the police and says 'My boyfriend is lost on the mountain' they're going to say 'Well, what do you expect us to do about it?'.
"That sounds terribly harsh but I'm afraid they're poorly resourced; they don't have the same scope to organise big rescues and their response."

Peregrine falcon chick died following 'harassment' from dominant female
Nigel Middleton, from the Hawk and Owl Trust said the bird left the nest box - as seen in the video below - yesterday morning and landed on a very low wall.
"We had to intervene and take her back up to the bell tower so that the parents, the male bird, could actually bring her food," he said.
"And all things were going well and then she started to get a lot of harassment from the dominant female that we now have there, the newcomer and unfortunately that newcomer treated her not as an existing fledgling chick but as an intruding peregrine falcon."
