Police officers are warning that crime is changing, and people can take simple steps to protect themselves.

A 19-year-old woman was walking alone through Shroggs Park when she was approached from behind by an unknown male who sexually assaulted her. When she turned around and asked what he was doing, he exposed himself before running off.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late teens to early 20s, around 5ft 5in tall and of skinny build. He had a gaunt face, pale skin and spoke with a local accent.

Leeds Bradford Airport fire crews on standby as flight returns soon after take off
The burglary happened in Moor Park Garden, while the occupants were away.
The Star Wars collection includes village sets, vehicles, characters and main ships with fighter figures inside, along with around 300 character figurines, many of them still in their boxes.

Detectives in Halifax are appealing for information following a sexual assault on a woman on Saturday afternoon.

An Eastern Airways flight carrying 37 passengers and crew returned to Leeds Bradford Airport shortly after take off this morning following a technical problem.
Police praise football fans after Bradford City defeat
West Yorkshire police have praised football fans after yesterday's League One play-off between Bradford City and Millwall at Valley parade.
In total, officers made two arrests but say the fixture was largely good-natured and enjoyable.
Bradford lost the game 3-1.
