Concern growing for missing 80-year-old from Leeds
Police are trying to trace Michael Henry who has been reported missing from Leeds.
Mr Henry, 80, was last seen at his home in Potternewton Crescent, Leeds at about 12:00 today.

He is described as white, 5ft 8in tall and slim wearing a charcoal suit jacket which has a herringbone weave to it.
He was also wearing a dark V-neck jumper, blue checked shirt, navy blue trousers and black slip-on shoes.
Mr Henry has a distinctive and strong Irish accent and is known as Mick.
Det Insp Andy Greatorex at the Leeds District Hub, said: "We are very concerned for the well being of Mr Henry, who is vulnerable, and would like to speak to anyone who has seen or has information about him.
"A number of enquiries are under way to try and locate him, and anyone who has information should contact the Leeds Hub on 101 referencing police log number 756 of today."

Another quick look at the travel situation reveals that all still looks OK, still busy but nothing that you probably wouldn't see normally. Let's hope it stays that way!

Liver transplants cancelled in Leeds because of lack of staff
Liver transplants have been cancelled at Leeds General Infirmary and the city's St James's Hospital because of a shortage of critical care nurses.

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has confirmed it cancelled operations and refused organs owing to a shortage of staff for high dependency and intensive care beds.
It also said that caps, imposed by the Department of Health, on how much NHS trusts can spend on agency staff was having an affect. In fact they said that they continued to breach the cap in order to keep safe staffing levels.

The news came to light after the Health Service Journal (HSJ) was given access to leaked documents and emails.

Yorkshire Water have issued a warning to children who have been playing on the construction site.
On West Yorkshire Police's Kirklees Rural Facebook page, they've issued a statement from Yorkshire Water that reads: "A group of children were also caught sledging down the reservoir embankment, and one of the group came into the working area and climbed onto a 13-tonne excavating machine."

Witnesses asked to come forward after fatal crash in Elland
People who may have witnessed a fatal crash involving a motorcyclist in Elland on Wednesday have been asked to contact the police.
The incident happened on Lowfields Way at about 17:00 and a 46-year-old Bradford man suffered fatal head injuries and died at the scene.

A few months ago we told you about the work to modernise the Butterley Reservoir's stone spillway.
The idea was to cover the Victorian stone with concrete so that it can deal with more water - it's been a very controversial scheme.

More on the fire that broke out on a train as it crossed an 80 ft (24 m) high viaduct near Knaresborough last night.
This is the only picture we know of which shows the fire. It was taken by Jenny Rowbury.
