The Tunisian ambassador to the UK, Nabil Ammar, is urging the Foreign Office to change its guidance to British tourists, which has cautioned against all but essential travel to the country following last year's terror attacks.
He says the country's economy has been affected but the Foreign Office says safety is its main concern.
Egypt and Turkey are also off the list of destinations, according to research by travel company, GFK, because of security fears.

Chelsea Flower Show: A very Yorkshire garden
The tourism organisation, Welcome to Yorkshire, has won a silver award at the Chelsea Flower show.

"God's Own County" is the biggest garden at this year's show and is inspired by the huge restoration project of the East Window at York Minster, with all the materials and plants used reflecting the Yorkshire landscape.
Designer, Matthew Wilson, says he set about "deconstructing" all elements of the window's design and "putting them back together in a different order" in the garden.

Billy Heath: North Ferriby United manager to take over at FC Halifax Town
Heath and assistant Mark Carroll, who is also leaving, led North Ferriby into the National League earlier this month.
FC Halifax Town were relegated on the last day of the season but won the FA Trophy at Wembley on Sunday.

Wakefield Council to spend £1.5m repairing former Crown Court building before selling it off
Wakefield councillors are deciding what to do with the city's historic former Crown Court building.
It was placed on Historic England’s "at risk" register in 2013 after falling into disrepair.
The authority's being recommended to carry out £1.5m worth of repairs - to make it waterproof and weathertight - before selling it off.

A distraught young woman raced home to find her Huddersfield house badly damaged by fire.
She was alerted to a fire in Luck Lane, Marsh, today and raced back to find fire crews tackling a blaze at her home and two others.

Pioneering event to empower women and girls in Leeds
An event set up to inspire women and girls to lead safer and healthier is being held in Leeds today.
It's called Women's Lives Leeds and will see more than 200 people attending.
Organised by Leeds Womens' Aid it comes as the charity is celebrating news it was awarded £2m from the Big Lottery fund.
Collision leaves car on its side in Featherstone

Darrell Clarke: Leeds United make formal approach to speak to Bristol Rovers boss

Leeds United have made a formal approach to speak to Bristol Rovers manager Darrell Clarke, reports BBC Radio Bristol.
Clarke joined Rovers as assistant boss in 2013, but was in charge when they were relegated in May 2014.
