SSI: How Redcar is rebuilding after steelworks closed

Almost 3,000 jobs were lost in Redcar six months ago, when the closure of the SSI steelworks was announced.

Cheaper imports had flooded the UK market, bringing an end to more than a century of steel-making on Teesside.
