Weather: Staying settled with mostly cloudy skies, but generally staying dry

Daisy the donkey in Palm Sunday performance
A 25-year old-donkey called Daisy will be leading the Palm Sunday procession at Ely Cathedral this weekend.

The procession marks the start of Holy Week and commemorates Christ's entry into Jerusalem, riding on a donkey.
Daisy is much in demand at this time of year. Owner Liz Wright, from Wimblington says: "I can't count the number of people that have rung me in the last week and asked if I have a donkey for their Palm Sunday."

A spokeswoman for Dick White Referrals vets in Cambridgeshire said he had "regained his full appetite - he just needs to be a little more discerning about his snacks".

The driver of the bus that crashed off the Cambridgeshire guided busway on 22 February, injuring six people, was recently sacked by bus operator Stagecoach.
Andy Campbell, managing director of Stagecoach East, says: "The investigation found that the driver didn't follow proper procedures, which is why he no longer works for the company.
"More than 3.5m passengers use the guided busway every year; it's significantly safer than the A14 and other major roads."

During her trial, the judge said she had a "sadistic lust for blood".

Marley, a seven-month-old cocker spaniel from Hitcham, in Suffolk, had to have a solid congealed lump of food and glue removed from his stomach by a surgeon at Dick White Referrals vets in Six Mile Bottom near Newmarket.
