Families affected by autism stay at home because they're worried how people will react according to a survey by the National Autistic Society. 7,000 people were questioned and 87 per cent of them said they were stared at and people made disapproving comments about behaviour displayed by children with autism. And hundreds of DIY DNA kits are being sold over the counter by retailers.
