Ed Miliband welcomes police review led by Lord Stevens

Labour leader Ed Miliband says the review of policing led by the former Metropolitan Police Commissioner Lord Stevens is a "real plan for the next Labour government".

Lord Stevens' review, which was commissioned by Labour in 2011, is calling for an overhaul of standards to make the police service more professional.
