Heysel photographer: some of the photos are too much to look at
Eamonn McCabe was one of the photographers at the Heysel Stadium disaster which happened thirty years ago. He says some of his photographs remain unpublished because they are "too much" to look at.
He said he took the photographs because at the time "he didn't know what was going on" and thought that picture evidence would help him to work out what had happened.
39 people died in violent clashes between Liverpool and Juventus fans at the European Cup final in 1985.
One of Eamonn McCabe's photographs of the disaster won him the award for News Photographer of the Year.
