Actor Matthew Perry says drug courts work

Think-tank Policy Exchange is calling for more drugs courts - on which former addicts might sit as magistrates - in the UK and has met Justice Secretary Chris Grayling to discuss the idea.

They were joined by a delegation from the United States including former addict and actor, Matthew Perry.

He spoke to Newsnight along with journalist Peter Hitchens and Baroness Meacher, who chairs the UK All-Party Parliamentary Group on Drug Policy Reform.
