Election review: Patrick O'Flynn and Diane Abbott

UKIP is going to have 20 to 30 target seats at the general election, said the party's director of communications.

Patrick O'Flynn said it was "really foolish of political parties to tell voters what their future behaviour is going to be" with Tory talk of its supporters voting UKIP this time, and returning to the Conservatives next year.

He was debating with Labour MP Diane Abbott, reviewing their parties' performances in the local elections, she predicted the "UKIP bubble would burst" around the time of the Newark by-election next month.

She also defended her party's campaign on the cost of living, but added: "No-one is going to confuse Ed Miliband with George Clooney any time soon."
