Bradford City 1-0 MK Dons

A howler from MK Dons goalkeeper David Martin gifted Bradford victory and saw them record back-to-back home wins for the first time since August.

Martin missed his attempted clearance kick completely, leaving James Hanson the task of slotting into an unguarded net with 18 minutes remaining.

That was Hanson's 10th goal of the season having earlier hit the crossbar.

Bradford were indebted to Stephen Darby for his first-half goal-line clearance from Izale McLeod's angled shot.

The Dons were so hard-hit by injuries that they named just four substitutes; with forward Sanmi Odelusi, who signed on loan from Bolton 24 hours earlier, making his debut from the bench.

MK Dons boss Karl Robinson told BBC Three Counties Radio:

"I thought we were the better team, I really did.

"Obviously, I've got tremendous respect for [Bradford boss Phil Parkinson] and the Bradford team, they work extremely hard and they make it difficult for you.

"For the first 20 minutes of the second half, we got into some great areas and didn't score. But I can't have a go at the players, I thought they deserved more than what they got.

"We're getting chances, but we're just not taking them.

"Football's a harsh game. But all we can do is work hard, and I think they all did that today."
