Peter Allen hears stories from people commemorating the 70th anniversary of the atomic bomb which killed 140,000 in Hiroshima. Setsuko Thurlow was 13-years-old at the time. She tells 5 Live how she survived and saw other survivors with terrible injuries as she travelled across the city which had been reduced to a wasteland. She says they looked like ghosts, there was an eerie silence and no one was shouting or running.
In the fourth Ashes match at Trent Bridge, Australia are all out in the first session of the first day for just 60 runs. England bowler Stuart Broad takes eight wickets for just 15 runs in 9.3 overs.
