Boy, 11, flown to UK hospital after Isle of Man bus crash

An 11-year-old boy has been flown to a hospital in the UK for treatment after suffering serious injuries when he was hit by a bus in the Isle of Man.
The crash happened on Whitebridge Hill, Onchan near the entrance to Laser Blast, at about 08:30 GMT.
Police confirmed the youngster, believed to be a pupil at St Ninian's High School, was taken to a Liverpool hospital.
A spokesman said he sustained "serious but not life threatening injuries".
The road, which was closed for an hour, has since re-opened.
