Migrant crisis: Inventor creates inflatable tube to save lives

A marine salvage expert from the Isle of Wight has invented a life-saving device to help people at sea.

Ben Board came up with the invention after seeing desperate images of migrants trying to cross the Mediterranean, with many drowning in the attempt.

The inflatable tube was designed and produced within a few months and is already being used.
