Bristol wheelchair-adapted bike project 'promotes independence'

It is hoped the wheelchair-adapted bicycles will soon be available for hire to the general public
Wheelchair-adapted bicycles are being offered in Bristol to people with disabilities wanting to learn to cycle.
The new project called Warmley Wheelers is based at the old railway station on the Bristol to Bath cycle path.
Funding for the £50,000 project came from the government's Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF).
Christine Hill, project manager, said the scheme was designed to "promote independence".
