President of Bulgaria: EU 'needs to act' against Russia

The President of Bulgaria, has told the BBC that Europe should stand strongly against any nation flouting international law.

Referring to Crimean leaders recently deciding to leave Ukraine and join Russia, Rosen Plevneliev said that the EU needed to "act against" Russia.

Pro-Russian forces took over at least two military bases in Crimea on Wednesday.
