Doug Richard is best known for appearing in the first two series of Dragon's Den, and as the founder of the School for Startups. He is also co-founder of the Cambridge Angels, and before that spent 20 years in the development and leadership of technology and software ventures.

In 2006, Doug was an honorary recipient of The Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion, and in 2007 he became a fellow of the RSA. He holds a BA in psychology from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Juris Doctor at the University of California School of Law in Los Angeles.

Richard Reed is the co-founder of smoothie brand Innocent. It was started from a market stall in 1999 by Richard and two friends, and has grown into a business with a turnover of over £200m, selling in 15 different countries across Europe. The founders recently sold their controlling stake in Innocent to Coca Cola in a deal valuing the business at more than $500 million.

Richard has since set up Jam Jar Investments, a company that backs young entrepreneurs.

Jo Malone started her career as a facial therapist, running a discreet skin care clinic from her London home. During this time she created scented products by hand in her kitchen, and this led to the launch of her first brand, Jo Malone London. In 1999 Jo sold the business to Estée Lauder Companies, and remained creative director until she left in 2006.

Jo has since set up another fragrance company, Jo Loves, which sells bath, body and candle products. The company opened its first store late last year.

Dale Murray is a technology entrepreneur turned angel investor.

New Zealand-born Dale was part of the founding team that launched Vodafone NZ in 1992. She then relocated to the UK and co-founded Omega Logic, launching prepay top-ups and building gross turnover to £450m within five years.

After exiting, Dale turned to investing in start-ups and after early success, was awarded British Angel Investor of the Year in 2011. 

Dale has three young sons and lives in London.
