Erdington car fire murder suspect appears in court

A man has appeared in court charged with murder after a woman's body was found in a burned out car.

The body Tia Kounota, 27, was found in an Audi car in Fentham Road, Erdington, Birmingham, on Tuesday night.

Damian Dinobewei, 34, of Pershore Road, Erdington, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates' Court earlier.

He was remanded in custody to appear again on 29 July. Detectives believe the Audi had been in the Rubery area a few hours before it was found.
