Ali Campbell, formerly of UB40, joins Jools Holland in the studio to sing live and discuss his career as one of the UK's biggest reggae stars.
Ali Campbell, formerly of UB40, guests, talking about his career as one of the UK's biggest ever homegrown reggae stars.
In addition he'll be joining Jools and the band for a live rendition of Lord Creator's 1970 classic "Kingston Town" which UB40 took to No 4 in 1990.
Alongside brother Robin, Ali was a founding member of UB40 in 1978 and remained as their lead singer until his departure in 2008. During that period the band enjoyed more than 40 hit singles, and sold more than 50 million records making them the UK's most successful reggae band by some considerable distance.
