A massive night for Adele at the Brits. She scooped four gongs.

She took home British female solo artist, British single, British global success award and British album of the year.

Here's how she's been conquering the universe over the last few months.

It all started with a 30 second teaser during an X Factor ad break in October.

Then there was this letter

Then she broke a lot of records

Hello became the most Shazamed song in 24 hours with more than 200,000 people using it in one day.

People were playing Hello's music video a million times an hour on YouTube, making it the biggest debut for any artist in 2015.

Her album was the fastest-selling album in chart history, and shifted more copies than the next 86 albums in the chart combined.

All wasn't clear though, as when we compared it with Oasis's Be Here Now, which only had three days to chart, Adele didn't come out on top.

But she did beat N*Sync's album sales record in America.

Hello also became the fastest selling song to reach a billion views on YouTube.

And more people bought 25 than FIFA 16.

Then she became an Adele impersonator

She became her alter-ego, Jenny and auditioned with a rendition of Make You Feel My Love.

And obvs won.

Then she became a rapper

"I'm not that talented of my own [lyrics]," Adele told James Corden.

But she did go viral for spitting Nicki Minaj's rap from Kanye's track Monster.

And it got Nicki's approval.

Then the Brit Awards changed the rules

Her album was released in November, weeks after the usual cut-off point for eligibility.

That's a sensible move - as it would've been a bit odd to have the Brits without the biggest-selling artist in the world.

Then she won all the Brits

Well she won British female solo artist, British single for Hello, British global success award and British album of the year.

But she publicly supported Kesha during her speech for female solo artists.

And said she had all the other songs nominated for British single.

There was a bit of swearing from her but Ant and Dec apologised.

She accepted the global success award from Major Tim Peake from the International Space Station.

And she cried because her child would think she was "so cool" for getting the award from space.

"Not bad for a girl from Tottenham who don't like flying to get global success," she joked.

And then she performed.
